The Song That Makes Me Get My Ugly Cry On

I can hardly wait to meet so many of my blogging friends HERE in October.  I'm especially excited to room with HER!  We can both hardly contain our excitement.  No one ever told me that I would meet such wonderful Christian sisters in the Lord along this blogging journey.

I am especially excited to Meet HER and HER HUSBAND.

This is my new favorite song that Todd sings.  Favorite is a gross understatement.  To listen, play the song to the right, under "My Prayer For Today".  It makes me BAWL LIKE A BABY.  I get that really ugly cry face on.  You know the one.  Thankfully I'm sitting at the computer alone !  But I am filled with such hope!  Listen and meditate on the words.  May you receive a special blessing from worshiping the Lord today!

Whatever you are going through, remember, nothing is Unredeemed.  Lay it at the foot of the cross; He will make it beautiful!  If you are going through a really tough time, please don't hesitate to CONTACT ME.  I'd love to chat with you and lift you up in prayer.

Selah- Unredeemed

The cruelest world
The coldest heart
The deepest wound
The endless dark
The lonely ache
The burning tears
The bitter nights
The wasted years

Life breaks and falls apart
But we know these are
Places where grace is soon to be so amazing
It may be unfulfilled
It may be unrestored
But when anything that's shattered is laid before the Lord
Just watch and see
It will not be unredeemed

For every choice that led to shame
And all the love that never came
For every vow that someone broke
And every lie that gave up hope
We live in the shadow of the fall
But the cross says these are all
Places where grace is soon to be so amazing
It may be unfulfilled
It may be unrestored
But when anything that's shattered is laid before the Lord
Just watch and see
It will not be unredeemed

Places where grace is soon to be so amazing
It may be unfulfilled
It may be unrestored
But you never know the miracle the Father has in store
Just watch and see
It will not be
Just watch and see
It will not be unredeemed

That Awful 6-Letter WORD

C-H-A-N-G-E.  I hate change, but I want it in my life.  Stagnant Believers make the waters of the Christian faith putrid.  The water becomes murky and questionable.

Lord, help me to be changed, from the inside, out... by you.  Let others see YOU LORD, when they look at my life.  Let my life bring you glory, and not shame.

I don't like the unfamiliarity of change, but I like it when I can see things moving in my life.  Stagnant water just sits.  A still pool of dirt and muck. All that can be seen is a cloudy mess of stank sewer water.

I want to be a flowing brook of fresh Spring water, a top God's beautiful mountain.  What about you?

What is it that God wants to change in your life?  A closer walk with Him?  A better, healthier lifestyle?  More organized, balanced living?  Seek Him First (Matthew 6:33).  Ask Him to make the change from the inside - out.

A thousand times I've failed - Still your mercy remains - And should I stumble again - Still I'm caught in your grace -Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades - Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame - My heart and my soul, I give You control - Consume me from the inside out Lord - Let justice and praise, become my embrace - To love You from the inside out - Your will above all else, my purpose remains - The art of losing myself in bringing you praise!

Contest is now closed.  The winner is Helen, From Be The Change You Want To See!  Congrats.

Do you want something fun and unique for a special baby in your life? Are you looking for a present that the new parents will appreciate month after month?

Milestone Months has baby onesies to celebrate each month of the baby's first year. With bright colors on the front and cute images on the back, these shirts will make you smile. The designs are screen printed on high quality onesie shirts.

Example of Boy/Girl Front/Back:

A little bit about us:

We started making monthly shirts for our third baby Grace, who was born in October 2009. People warned us that the third baby never gets as many photos taken, but that hasn't been true for us! We haven't missed a month and have enjoyed seeing her grow and change over time.

We'd like to offer Ordinary Inspirations readers a chance to win a shirt of your choice. Leave a comment and one person will be chosen at random. Save it for the next baby shower you're invited to, or pick the next month that you need for your baby.

Amy Jo blogs over at The Little Moments.  Amy is so creative!  You should totally check out her blog.  You will walk away with so many crafty ideas.

ECZEMA. Do Your Kids Have It?

My children have super sensitive skin.  When my daughter turned the age of 2, her skin got so much better!  My 18 month old son has Eczema pretty bad.  He will get super-bad flare ups.

Do/did your kids have Eczema?  What helped them?  I've heard a lot of different things about the cause of this skin condition.  I'm convinced that it is allergy related.  What have you heard?  I'd be interested to hear what you've researched.

Some products that have helped my son keep his red-blotchy rashes under control:

Laundry Detergent

Dryer Sheets

I've found that it is best to not use them at all.  Although, my husband isn't particularity excited about his shocking new wardrobe.

Soaps

Lotion
Sun Screen

Treating Flare-Ups
I'd love to hear your advice.
Thanks Friends!

Have you been noticing the colors?  If not, take your life-lens off black/white and look through new eyes!  He is waiting to show you great and mighty things!

Zephaniah 3:17
The LORD your God is with you,
       He is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing.
