We Don't Have Control Over Our Child's Actions

Our children are sinners.

              They will make wrong choices.

                                They will break our hearts.

The real question is, how will we react?

  1. Loved this simple yet profound truth! Thanks for sharing.

  2. Amen. I realized once that a re-action is just another form of acting poorly. We act out just as the offender has. But to re-spond requires more thought and offers hope for change for the other person. When our kids see us respond rightly rather than re-"acting" -their poor actions it gives them hope .

  3. Just love them with all your heart and pray for the ability to parent them with your Father In Heaven. I kow that you do that.

  4. This is so so so true - a lesson I am in the thick of,especially in raising my teen niece the past few years. I fail often.
